Snow Day!

February 22nd, 2008 by dMdC Photography

What better thing to do when stuck inside on a snow day?  Well do a portrait of your cat of course!  I really think I captured Sabrina’s personality on this one.  I think I yelled out “SNACKS” and those ears shot straight up.  Ain’t she cute?  Hope you guys are all home safe and sound!

Super Sunday

February 3rd, 2008 by dMdC Photography

I woke up today as if Christmas morning had arrived once again.  A sense of giddiness if you will, that my NY Giants would be playing in the Super Bowl today.  My Strahan jersey sits folded at the end of my bed waiting patiently for 6:30 to arrive.  All morning and now afternoon I have been watching hours of ESPN, ESPN2 and Fox5 going on and on about the amazing New England Patriots, God’s team if you listen long enough.  I think someone actually managed to get Tom Brady on the Democratic Ticket for Super Tuesday. The Pat’s even went ahead and got the trademark on 19-0 “The perfect season”.  Well, being New Yorkers we weren’t going to let that one slide, the G-Men went ahead and got a trademark on 18-1.

Of course every sports caster has been picking the Pat’s to crush the Giants (shocking, I know) but Mike Ditka was nice enough to pick the G-Men to win.  So Mike, I apologize now for all the nasty things I said about you back in the days of the Super Bowl Shuffle.  I always liked your quarter back, Jim McMahon and his Adidas headband.

So as I sit and type this, I’ve got to admit than I’m nervous about tonight.  It is going to be a tough battle and I’m hoping for a good game.  Although if Lawerence Tynes is reading this (he’s a huge fan) if you could possibly just get the field goals in on the first try it would save me some money on the anti-anxiety medication I’ve been taking since the Greenbay game.  When we win tonight, we will do it not by filiming the opposition’s play calls, getting restraining orders against us or playing dirty…… we would have done it the old fashion way, we will earn it.

 GO BIG BLUE!
