Sherry & Josh

June 30th, 2007 by dMdC Photography

I remember the first time I met Sherry to discuss her wedding, she described the plans for the day and I thought it sounded absolutely beautiful.  Well, it wasn’t beautiful……… was magical.  Josh’s parents were awesome enough to put together the wedding on their lake front home and had the amazing Redwoods come along to cater it (if you ever want to try their phenomenal food make sure to visit their restaurant in Chester).  Josh and Sherry are soooo perfect together and to top it off they have the most beautiful families to surround them.  What could one do to top off a wedding like this?  Ummmm, how ’bout some fireworks?  Gary….I want in on the next party!

An Evening of Excellence

June 20th, 2007 by dMdC Photography

Once again I had the honor of photographing the annual Evening of Excellence charity event for the Mental Health Association in New Jersey.  It was held at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ and they did a stunning job hosting the event.  This year, Emme and her husband Phillip Aronson were back again to support the MHANJ.  Montel Williams was honored this year as the Golden Bell Leadership Award Recipient.  It was a beautiful evening that celebrated people that are bringing much needed awareness to mental health.

Becky and Hannah

June 18th, 2007 by dMdC Photography

Well, since my Dad decided to go on vacation to Mexico again this year, I was left with nothing to do on Father’s Day.  Luckily, my friends Becky and Hannah had me over for a play date so I didn’t feel so lonely!  On our playdate, we got to pick some cool flowers, climb trees, go on the swings and put on some pretty fancy dresses.  I don’t think a playdate would be complete without at least one fancy dress being involved!  Unfortunately, no one sent me the memo to bring one so I didn’t get my picture taken. 🙁

Victoria & Steven

June 15th, 2007 by dMdC Photography

I can’t believe how quickly Vicky & Steven’s wedding came up.  It seems like only yesterday that they got engaged in Israeli and Vicky and I have been chatting about this day ever since. How to describe their wedding?  Ummmm….Oh My Gosh!  Amazing!  We headed off to Liberty State Park for some stellar pics (if I may say so myself) and then off we went to Brooklyn for the ceremony and reception.  My photographer friend, Mark was kind enough to come second shoot with me…gracias senor Gardner!  I can honestly say that everyone had a blast and left feeling completely full because I have never seen so much food in my life.  Now these two are off to the Bahamas and I’m sure that they are sitting in their hotel room wishing they were back here in Jersey…..NOT!  Steven- deal me in for the next poker night!

Victoria & Carmine

June 10th, 2007 by dMdC Photography

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for so long, Victoria is such a great person and it did help that I’m close with her sister, Marie (apparently also know as Mary…see what you learn at weddings?) Everything was beautiful from the ceremony at St. Constatine’s in Orange, NJ to the amazing South City Grill in Jersey City.  The only thing that I am totally bummed about is that these two are off to Cabo and I didn’t get invited.  Whatz up wit that?

don’t know what is up with me and nail polish lately…..

Fortune Cookies

June 5th, 2007 by dMdC Photography

So it Chinese food day over here and anyone who knows me, knows that its Chinese food day at my house A LOT!  My cooking skills comprise of some really good Mexican food, macaroni and cheese and baked potatoes in the microwave.  One of my favorite things about my take out is the little gem at the bottom of the bag….the fortune cookie.  You don’t even actually have to eat the cookie (which 9 times out of 10 the thing is hitting the garbage) but the tiny piece of paper that the cookie contains that will tell you what the furture will hold, now thats worth the price of admission.  I have tons of these things taped all over the place in hopes that one day its wisdom will slap me upside my head and I will finally find my meaning in life.  So as I sit here now, I can tell you the only thing that has slapped me upside the head is my Mom, when I talk fresh.  Ain’t no wisdom in that!

My words of wisdom for today.  Hope it doesn’t mean I’m heading to a place w/padded walls.

Do you think they got the Pac Man/Ms. Pac Man idea from these?

Apparently, cats also find these to be delicious as well.

Emma Grace

June 1st, 2007 by dMdC Photography

If you ever just want your heart to melt, you need to look no further than my little friend, Emma.  She is a woman of few words but her eyes tell you everything you need to know.  You should see them light up at the mention of grape icepops and grape lolipops.  Good thing I was fully stocked with both….models can get demanding when they don’t get what they want.
