You want to talk about a perfect day for a wedding?  It was absolutely gorgeous on Sunday with not a drop of humidity (ok, so maybe I found a few drops but no biggie).  Christina & Michael are just the sweetest people and I always thought Michael was kinda shy, man was I wrong!  Lets just say this guy is a dancing machine!  I could not stop smiling while watching everyone at the reception.  I had a fantastic time and I can say without a doubt that so did everyone else.  Have an amazing time during your two week honeymoon to Greece, don’t miss us over here in Jersey and bring me back a t-shirt.

So I am very excited and also a bit sad that today was Mel & Matt’s wedding day.  I’ve grown quite attached to Mel and after tomorrow her and Matt are heading back to their home in Texas.  These guys are two of the nicest, kindest people you will ever meet and I’m not even slightly exaggerating.  Their wedding was absolutely perfect and this Texas girl sure did pick an awesome place for her wedding….The Castle at Skylands Manor (one of my favorites).  I’m sure everyone is still out partying since they had a day wedding and I’m a little bit jealous…lol  Safe trip home tomorrow y’all and if you guys ever decide to move to NJ, I know one person who already considers the two of you friends (ya, that would be me). 

I had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Erin several weeks ago and I knew I liked them right off the bat.  They totally tolerated my wacky sense of humor so I knew I would fit right in on their wedding day.  They chose The Palace at Somerset Park for their ceremony and reception.  It was my first time there and the place is stunning and they just did an amazing job (and they hooked me up with an sweeeettt steak dinner).  I gotta tell ya, I have never heard more sniffling during a couple’s vows as I heard yesterday.  Ummm, ok…I sniffled along with the rest of them, I’ll admit it.  Josh, Erin…thanks for making me feel like a guest at your wedding and I wish you two a lifetime of happiness (which I really don’t think will be a problem).

So yesterday I headed out to Long Island to help my friend Bill Wang out on one of his weddings.  I learned a little something about traveling to Long Island, leave the house around 5 hours before you actually need to be in Long Island.  Holy crap, the traffic was endless!  It was fun hangin with Bill though and his awesome couple plus the weather was absolutely perfect….made it almost worth sitting in all that traffic. 

Kaycee and John had one of the most random 1st meetings I’ve ever heard…..on an elevator!  Just a quick ride on an elevator and years later here we are on their wedding day.  They perfectly balance each other out and I don’t think Kaycee is ever in a bad mood so I’m thinking these two are going to have the “happily ever after” you hear about in fairy tales.  Have an awesome time in Japan (two freakin weeks!) and always keep smiling, I don’t think this will be a problem for the two of you.

Yesterday I was off to meet with Tina of Oh So Fabulous wedding designs.  She put together an amazing bridal shower at Tao’s in East Rutherford.  Every little detail was fantastic but wait until you see the cake, it was so freakin cute!

Pam is one of the most elegant women I have ever met, not to mention stunningly beautiful.  Jeff and I hit it off immediately since he knew almost the same amount of Mets info as me(ok, he really didn’t know THAT much but I appreciated the little knowledge he did have).  Their wedding was just amazing, not to mention the weather.  I mean how many low humidity days does one come across in July? After pics in the park, off we went to the Berkley Plaza for a great party which I am sure continued long after the reception was over.  Have an awesome time in Hawaii guys, bring me back something nice.
